Dr Grant Dalziel
Dr Dalziel has been a general practitioner in the Sandton area
for the past 30 years. He is an advisor to Afrox Medical Aid and
an honorary lecturer and examiner at Wits Medical School’s
Department of Family Practice. He is also the external examiner
for the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Department of
Health Sciences at Wits University. He has frequently acted as
an expert witness for the Medical Defence Union at South African
Medical and Dental Council (SAMDC) hearings. He has completed
the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology’s Advanced Course in
Diabetes Care. |

Dr Peta Lynn Jearey
Dr Jearey has been working as a specialist family physician for
the past 22 years. Her particular interests are gynaecology
and women’s health, adolescent health issues and anxiety and
depression. She is a certified Menopause Practitioner
accredited by the North American Menopause Society and has
completed the CDE's advanced course in Diabetes Care. She is
an honorary lecturer at Wits Medical
School’s Department of Family Practice and also heads up the
Sandton Travel Clinic. |

Dr Wendy Lewis
Dr Wendy Lewis qualified from UCT Medical School in 2002.
She has worked in the UK where she did mainly casualty and
GP work. She has subsequently done her diploma in Family
Medicine and is accredited with the centre for Diabetes and
Endocrinology. She has a special interest in diabetes,
allergies and travel medicine. |

Charlotte Meschede
Charlotte Meschede holds a BSC in Dietetics from the
University of Natal and post graduate Diploma in Hospital
Dietetics from the University of Pretoria. She is currently
studying for a degree in Herbal Medicine in London. She has
been improving health through nutrition for the last 34
years in private practice. Charlotte regularly gives talks
on subjects regarding nutrition to raise standards even with
fellow Nutritionists and Dieticians. Many respected
businessman and South African personalities have consulted
with her with regard to restoring the quality of their lives
through appropriate eating plans. Her specialist interests
include the prevention and management of degenerative
diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and
cancer. She is a certified diabetic educator and has
completed the CDE’s advanced course in diabetes care.. |
